The Senqu Hard Enduro is a 3 day GPS stage race in southern Lesotho.
Set in and around the awe-inspiring terrain cut by the Senqu River over millennia, riders can expect world class tracks in never before ridden territory.
Route classes are set as , Lite, Bronze, Silver and Gold.

This will be our first Summer Edition of the Senqu Hard Enduro. Traditionally the Senqu has always been staged in the first half of September, but due to date clashes with other races, we have decided to test out a summer edition for 2027. This will give riders some breathing room as opposed to having all the big races crammed into the end of the year. It will also give riders the opportunity to get a great jump start into the enduro season with some proper stage racing.
The Senqu will be a different animal in summer as the terrain will be green and moist from the summer rainfall.
We will adjust the track layouts to accommodate for the extra heat and moisture experienced at that time of year. One thing you can count on, is that the Senqu will retain is standing as one of the toughest stage races on the enduro calendar.
Classes will remain as Gold, Silver, Bronze and Lite, but will be shortened to compensate for the increased technicality that comes with riding in wetter terrain. A lot more work will need to be put in from our side regarding alternate rain routes, and making sure that we keep our high standard of “rider experience” .

- WE HAVE DONE AWAY WITH THE DEPOSIT SYSTEM AND ALL RIDERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY THE FULL ENTRY PRICE TO SECURE THEIR ENTRY.
- RIDERS MAY ONLY SUB THEIR ENTRIES UP UNTIL MARCH 1ST 2027 – NO EXCEPTIONS. THE ORGANISERS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE TO FIND YOU AN ALTERNATE.
- ONCE ENTRY HAS BEEN PAID, THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS OR ROLL OVERS ENTERTAINED, REGARDLESS OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES.
- IF THE EVENT IS POSTPONED BY THE ORGANISERS DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES OF FORCE MAJEURE, INCLUDING CIVIL UNREST, ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS POLITICAL INTERFERENCE OR PANDEMICS, RIDERS WILL NOT BE REFUNDED BUT THEIR ENTRIES WILL BE TRANSFERRED TO THE NEXT AVAILABLE DATE.

-LITE-
+- 50 KM PER DAY
If you haven’t had time to train, or you just want to come and enjoy the vibe and the scenery. Then Senqu Lite is for you.
Easy going riding with a few stingers to get your blood pumping, magnificent views and that Lesotho big mountain feeling.
You can compare this class to an Iron class in the industry.
SENQU
-BRONZE-
+- 80 KM PER DAY
Bronze is our biggest race class and has been compared to the difficulty level of a Roof Bronze.
Covering a huge variety of terrain, you will encounter fast flowing single track, river crossings, step ups and downs, technical climbs and a main pass challenge on each day.
Rated as some of the best riding in SA.
SENQU
-SILVER-
+- 100 KM PER DAY
Silver tracks get kicked up several notches from bronze with regards to distance and technicality.
You will need to be a competent rider with excellent fitness to finish a Senqu Silver. It takes you into the remote area across the Senqu where recovery is almost impossible other than by foot.
Make sure you know what you are doing if you enter the Silver class.
SENQU
-GOLD-
+- 110 KM PER DAY
Gold tracks will be going deep into the remote zone. Senqu Gold class is designed for professional athletes.
You will need to be a highly experienced rider to take on the distance and technicality of the Gold tracks.
You will find yourself deep in remote mountain areas, so no mistakes allowed.
