The Senqu Hard Enduro is a 3 day GPS stage race in southern Lesotho.
Set in and around the awe-inspiring terrain cut by the Senqu River over millennia, riders can expect world class tracks in never before ridden territory.
Route classes are set as , Bronze, Silver and Gold.

The Senqu has firmly established itself as one of the toughest races on the events calendar. Kept small by design, it still however retains its charm as a relaxed and social gathering of like minded riders… those who like it hard! Don’t be fooled by the easy entry process, minimal admin and chilled vibe… it may seem like fun and games at the Race Village, but out in the mountains, you will quickly find out we take our tracks seriously!
Tracks for 2026 will be set as Gold, Silver, Bronze and Lite.
Every year riders underestimate the toughness of the Senqu, and my advice is the same every year. Ride a class under what you would normally ride at other events. The terrain is relentless and wears riders down faster than any other event, so fitness is your best weapon.
SENQU
-LITE-
+- 80 KM PER DAY
If you haven’t had time to train, or you just want to come and enjoy the vibe and the scenery. Then Senqu Lite is for you.
Easy going riding with a few stingers to get your blood pumping, magnificent views and that Lesotho big mountain feeling.
You can compare this class to an Iron class in the industry.
SENQU
-BRONZE-
+- 100 KM PER DAY
Bronze is our biggest race class and has been compared to the difficulty level of a Roof Bronze.
Covering a huge variety of terrain, you will encounter fast flowing single track, river crossings, step ups and downs, technical climbs and a main pass challenge on each day.
Rated as some of the best riding in SA.
SENQU
-SILVER-
+- 120 KM PER DAY
Silver tracks get kicked up several notches from bronze with regards to distance and technicality.
You will need to be a competent rider with excellent fitness to finish a Senqu Silver. It takes you into the remote area across the Senqu where recovery is almost impossible other than by foot.
Make sure you know what you are doing if you enter the Silver class.
SENQU
-GOLD-
+- 140 KM PER DAY
Gold tracks will be going deep into the remote zone. Senqu Gold class is designed for professional athletes.
You will need to be a highly experienced rider to take on the distance and technicality of the Gold tracks.
You will find yourself deep in remote mountain areas, so no mistakes allowed.
